Beat Movement

Italy is probably the only European country where the popularity of techno music never saw a dip. Berlin based duo Mattia Prete and Simone Scardoni are Beat Movement. A duo heavily inspired by the techno sound of the 90's, specifically the typical sounds coming from Detroit and Berlin, back in those days. They took this sound, made it their own and transported it into the 21st century. Raw, fast grooves (often over 135 bpm).

Together with D-Leria they founded the record label DLbm releasing mainly dancefloor oriented tracks. The aim is to spread the techno born in the 90's, minimalistic sounds, full of groove and very dynamic, with an eye and an ear toward the future.
